My name is Sharon Link. I am a Ph.D. educator, presenter, consultant, and mother of a child with High Functioning Autism. My research thus far has been in the area of exploring maternal experiences of mothers of children with Asperger Syndrome. While this website is subject to host a wide range of expertise in various subject areas from parental advocacy to education to medical and therapy needs of the child with Asperger Syndrome, the experiences of mothers will provide the lens through which these topics will be viewed. Additionally, Asperger Syndrome is a global, international concern. Therefore, opinions and research will be presented in a multi-lingual format; research conducted from other countries will also be included in order to provide the most far-reaching advocacy and intervention strategies.
